3.2 Being an Effective Inclusive Teacher

An effective inclusive teacher is able to first provide authentic assessment. This will help to identify the specific needs of all the children in his/her care. Secondly working in collaboration with other stakeholders, to modify curriculum and provide the resources that will remove barriers is a important attribute displayed by the effective teacher. This will ensure that the teacher is able to provide high quality learning experiences for all the children in his/ her care regardless of their specific needs. Thus creating an inclusive school.

At our Centre teachers always strive to create a home-school link when planning and providing all our children with a high quality Early Childhood education.
