Activity 4.10: End of course assessment - Bringing it all together
What I liked about this course is looking at the resources the teachers had to work with and the functioned . resources such as the school environment and materials available, in spite of this the teachers did not stay discouraged or neglectful towards their students. They pressed forward with determination and with great expectations to make things better for their students . I like how the teachers saw a brighter side to things when they received information. However that is not the only aspect of the course that I am going to remember and use. I am also taking the idea of "every child has a friend to play with at break time" I think it is very useful and can help to eliminate bullying . it can also help children to love respect each other ,develop empathy and build their self esteem and confidence.
I will also like the idea of speaking to the child to address the needs of the child. We do include our children in many discussions about school and their needs , we allow them to speak about their concerns and even demonstrations when referring to labour day .
