School-Based Teacher Development

One challenge of SBTD is that staff are not willing to work collaboratively as they think they are in competition with each other thus preventing effective learning.

One opportunity of SBTD is that the government has taken into consideration the suggestions of the teachers on what professional development training they wish to pursue and have since provided some opportunities.
