Activity 2.5 School policies to support inclusion.

My favorite inclusion was  all children with disabilities have social activities after school.

This will really help them to build a high self-esteem by knowing that there is someone they can play with and count on while participating in social activities after school, this will also build their confidence in them selves.

School polices to support inclusion

I agree with Melessa, after school activities will indeed help to build self-esteem for children with disabilities. It is important that they have someone they can rely on to play( take turns, share)  which will assist in developing their social skills.

Another great idea is the 'buddy system' where  children with disabilities can be partnered with students without disabilities who are more advance to render assistants to these children with disabilities who may be at a disadvantage.

True Leela and Jackson, provision of various activities during play time accommodates all chidren enabling those with disabilities to fit in. Presence of buddies to offer support is very encouraging and fulfilling to learners with special needs.
