Activity 4.10 Bringing it all together

Activity 4.10 Bringing it all together.

This course was packed with knowledge and information, all of which I am grateful for. The two key points I would take away from this course are:

1.       The importance of teacher attitudes, mainly their soft skills, are towards creating an inclusive school. Teacher attitudes contribute immensely to the school’s ethos, differently abled children’s emotional and mental wellbeing within the school environment, as well as the way their peers respond to them socially and emotionally.

2.       The emotional and mental needs of differently abled children are just as important as their physical wellbeing. These needs need to be met in order to boost self-esteem, encourage a sense of belonging and provide validation.
