Activity 4.1 It takes a village...

1. A village absolutely goes beyond a physical place on a map. A village is a proverbial term that means a community of people who have embraced a shared responsibility of raising a child whether they are 5 or 50 miles apart. Especially in these times where communities are always at our finger tips, for example phones.

3. The stronger links will be Parents and Teachers and the not so strong links will be neighbours and relatives, for example cousins.

4. Blind Welfare Association of Trinidad and Tobago.

4.1 It takes a Village to Raise a child

I do agree with you on this one. You have two strong points mentioned there in number one and number two. It is not just a location on a map, it does takes more than that. Everyone in a community plays a role in raising a child. In the olden days, it used to be anyone in the community being a part of your child's life ensuring that him/her make the right choice but in today's society, it is not like that anymore. No one really do care what your child does. then technology comes to effect. Everything is technology and it changes the way of life drastically.
