Activity 4.2 - Working with Parents

Having an open door policy is definitely recommended as parents feel welcomed and there is a sense of transparency which promotes trust.

 Another example of ways schools can work with parents are to host fun and engaging parent education workshops and parent support meet and greets that help parents understand the role of the school, the importance of the role that they play in the home-school partnership and to increase the teamwork and feeling of community among parents.
