4.2 Working with Families

Communication between parents and teachers has always been a vast importance in the growth and development in the individual child. For academic purposes, and ensuring that the child is fully understanding the lessons and concepts being taught. The teacher/ parent open communication could assist in ensuring that learning and understanding is occurring. This communication would help teachers be aware if the child is being reinforced at home and if the work is getting done as well as the hindrances preventing full potential of the child.
