Activity 3.3 Being an effective teacher

I will do the following to support student teachers in developing different types of knowledge:

Teach them the various theories in preparation for their teaching practice, what is expected of them in the classroom

Create opportunity to demonstrate how to teach taking into cognisance individual differences

Involve them in planning a lesson to be taught by the student teachers to see if what was learnt could be transferred into their teaching

Areas that are not effective are identified and discussed together before another class experience.
