Bringing it all together

Creating and inclusive school is challenging. The teachers must have a welcoming and open attitude, the parents must be willing and the community needs to be supportive. 

A teacher's attitude sets the pace for each day. Without a positive attitude the environment will not flourish. Parents and community need to work in cohesion with the school to create an inclusive environment.

This course has shown me how schools around the world are similar and different where inclusivity is concerned. Some strategies used by other schools are used in the schools in my country. Some strategies are not but they should be implemented for example the TESSA IE TOOLKIT. 

I will continue to work on creating an inclusive school using all that I have learnt in this course.
