In order to participate in learning study a time and space must be created for teachers to meet and discuss best practices and to use some of the strategies they are exposed to

Dear Candy,

Thanks for your posting.

The opportunities for teachers to be given the time and space to engage in best practices discussions are not yet forthcoming at my school, so planning for teaching is not a regular practice. As a result our school is critically underperforming for more than 10 years. It is a very saddening situation in the presence of all this knowledge.
