A challenge some of us are facing is that of hierarchy. In some of our higher institutions, it is often uncommon for a senior to receive advice from the junior simply because of his rank. Some colleagues think that once you are PhD holder and have been teaching they are above others. Moreover, once they reach the top, full professorship, some term themselves to be "small gods" as though this is the end of the world. I strongly believe that we all need to be humble  in order to learn from others because, no one knows it all.
