The most recent professional development training I attended "Teaching in Times of Change," was conducted by the School Support Sevices Divison in my Country which highlighted the need to reach children with challenging online behavior; managing disruptive behaviors in the online environment; identifying anxiety in children; promoting mental health in education. The workshop was very effective because it pointed out how important it is to identify children with special needs even though we are still online.
