Activity 2.5

There are many ideas I came up with, but my favourite is

  • all children with disabilities have someone to play with at break time

As we know play in one of the most important aspect of a child's life. Children can be paired on a weekly basis with others in the classroom to play with at break time, so as to learn, share and understand each other.  This can in itself spark friendships and develop trust and communication among peers.  When the pairs are changed, each child will get an opportunity to learn about each other and be able to appreciate children with disabilities and hence may be able to bring about change in each individuals.  From my experience, when someone fell on the playground, you will see others stop what they were doing and going to aid in someway or the other.  This I believe will help in each child in they individual developmental growth.
