Two factors that are particularly effective in contributing to an inclusive ethos and culture are:
1. Support from the school's staff members.
With full support from the school's staff members this will ensure that diverse thinking is respected and valued. It will show that each learner is supported in their abilities without discrimination. Therefore with this support, staff members demonstrates an understanding that each individual is unique and despite that they are part of a supportive team rather than alone.
2. Full involvement from families.
Since parents/guardians are the only adults that would be there throughout the child's educational process they have the opportunity to create a supportive home environment for the learner. They can build on the student's success as they work with the school staff and create new relationships. Also, families can provide helpful information on whether current strategies and instructions are benefiting to the learner.
