The school organises regular meetings with parents and Caregivers, maintain a register or record book which the child carries between school and home. Every morning, parents and caregivers record the child's experiences the previous night and that morning for the information of the school. On the other hand, the school staff record the child's experiences at school from the moment he or she arrives till returning home. This includes experiences during different lessons, at break time and interacting with other learners. This interactions helps to keep the home and school fully informed about the child's experiences so that appropriate support can be given. The practice allows for holistic support for the child which helps inclusiveness for the child because all the staff at school are involved. Staff may also discuss any issues of interest regarding any one of the children. This enables awareness of all staff which helps appropriate support to be given. This inclusive practice has proved very important in our school.
