As a special education educator I have had the opportunity to attend various professional development workshops and courses. All of which always provided me with new information which increases my knowledge in my field. One workshop/course that helped me to improve my practice was an online course “Using open education resources for online learning.”

This was very effective for me as the information was very informative. I learnt how to set up google applications such as google classroom, google meet etc. the course was very effective because I was able to implement the new knowledge and techniques learned to work with my students.
