Developing as a Learning Organisation

One of the professional development training courses that I have attended was a certificate course titled Educational Leadership and it was conducted by Cambridge International. It was a 6 month course but it continued for almost a year, due to several uncontrollables. This course allowed me to reflect deeply on my own practice as a leader. I assessed my own strengths and weaknesses in a different way, and was able to develop my own skills as a manager. I was able to handle conflicting situations with team members with more win-win results. I was able to see my weaknesses in a new light, and was empowered with practical tips on how to overcome those weaknesses. I also learned to focus on my strengths as a leader, and after continuous assessment and reassessment of my decisions, I found that this course had helped me improve my ability to handle diverse teams.
