Professional Development Training experienced

I was recently part of a training to help students with special needs. I learnt a lot from the differentiated instruction workshop I took here in my country. Ideas and strategies in how to differentiate instruction were presented and shared to us. The activities shared and the we were part of were engaging and interesting. I was able to better understand the difference between accommodation and modification. I realized that in class with my students, I have been doing some of the activities shared but I was not aware that it was being done correctly. I learnt a lot and I am waiting for the follow up that will be a guide on how prepare the plans for differentiated instruction students and also IEP guiding us on how to prepare alternative assessment for our students with special needs. In the training, we touched part of this of the planning using graphic organizer and a lesson plan but I feel that it was not enough and another training in this aspect would be of great help for us as educators to guide and help our students.
