Monitoring Inclusivity

There is a school I can recall having a good resource center as an inclusive feature. I can tell that the resources provided for students were very influential in the students' lives and education. Some examples are ramps for students that are handicap, hearing aids for students that are deaf or hearing impaired, braille for students that are blind, glasses for visually impaired and other resources. I have seen teachers in my country using more participatory approaches in lessons their lesson where students are motivated and excited to be part of the class activities. Resource room or center is important as children feel comfortable and safe. It helps in attendance, behaviour and also helps children to have a high self-esteem because they feel they are loved, cared for and valued.
