The itinerant teachers provides invaluable assistance to the school as an outsider. Experiences at different schools enriches his experience and career. He learns a lot as he works from school to school. However, he or she may face challenges such as the learner may be absent from school on the day of the visit if there is no communication with the school. Movements may be expensive if no budgetary allocations are made in advance. Cultural conflict may hinder effectiveness of the itinerant teacher. On the whole there are more benefits than demerits.
