according my experience as a teacher it is very important to have good practices and trainings to develop and update knowledge. then only can become a effective teacher and it helps to share our knowledge with other teacher as we are well practiced for the relevant subjects.

Very true Silva,good teaching and training  practices are imperative as they lead to improved performance for both the teacher and learner.There are several opportunities  associated with  SBTD . A quick one is proximity of training in terms of physical context which is the 'school of practice' as well as 'participants' being teachers of same school coming together for professional gain. I see an opportunity of valuable sharing and enrichment among colleagues. A challenge is availability of vast resources to foster activity oriented approaches during teaching /learning process.
