The Professional development which challenged my thinking was the training session I attended for sign language. It really challenged me because it was something new to me and I found it difficult to perform sign language. The facilitators did it fast and it seems easy for them but for me it was difficult. Up to now I still find it challenging I need to use the chart to see the alphabet to sign the letter of the alphabet and to sign the other words and phrases wow it is complicated. I truly believe that I need to practice it everyday so that I can get used to it and learn to do it. I have not had the opportunity to work with a student that will need for me to do sign language but I am sure that in the future I will have the opportunity to work with one, therefore, I believe I should start practicing from now so when the time is here I am already in the process. Like the saying states, "Practice makes perfect!"
