At one school I know. Children’s progress is monitor, share information, and review of children’ s needs are done by having regular meeting every Friday evening.  At these meeting each teacher gives a verbal report of what they observed on each child in her group. Children’s needs are identified, and everyone come together to create strategies to support what were identified. If there is an emergence and it called for a quick response, teachers will meet during the children’s rest time work on the problem. Teachers also disscuss other administrative matters and plans for the next week activities.

Monitoring at this school is not only leave to one person, but everyone takes on that responsibility because during that day each will interface with all the teacher in the school at some point, observations are written by the teacher and given to each group teacher at the end of the day, or sometime verbally according to what is observed.
