This is a similar exercise to the rose, for the same situation. The watercolour was opaque and I decided to recover the draw.

I emphasized the apples so that you can see the effect of water on the pastels

As you can see I covered well the apples and I am covering also the background

I used black to empathize the apples did the leaves, and the orange, I also did the space surface

This is the final result without a spaceline

At the final, you make an imaginary division line.
