Basics

A Code of Conduct and Ethics provides guidelines for how board members should act and make decisions. The purpose of these codes is not to penalize individuals who break them, but rather to ensure the board operates in a healthy, effective manner and makes decisions that benefit everyone involved.

It is beneficial for each neighborhood association to build upon these principles and create a tailored Code of Ethics specific to their needs.
