Effective teachers use a variety of strategies and activities to engage their pupils with learning in school. These short dramas show three teachers' attempts to make learning more relevant and motivating for their pupils; 'Anything for School' and 'The Music Teacher' show classroom lessons whilst 'Plantain Seller' takes place at school sports day. The clips in this album are designed to be used to support the development of teachers' classroom practice in both formal and non formal learning situations. This material is from the TESSA (Teacher Education in Sub Saharan Africa) initiative.
