Episode 1: Is university right for me?

There’s so much to consider about whether university life is right for you these days. In this first episode we discuss the range of issues that might help you make that initial decision, covering lots of different experiences. And if you think uni could be right for you, we look at how to go about choosing the university and course that suits you, and a whole lot of other things!

Episode 2: How do I get through the application process?

How do you decide where and what to study and choose the right course for you? And where should you start with your Personal Statement? In this episode we lead you through the application process, step by step, and share real-life experiences of the application process, from UCAS Fairs to Open Days, to drawing up firm choices and Clearing.

Episode 3: Will I fit in at university?

University life is a whirlwind of new experiences - which is exciting but also daunting. In this episode we have an honest chat about the social aspects of university life - the freshers experience, making friends, living away from home - or indeed, staying at home. University life is not just about study – we share some tips and dispel some myths of the student social experience.

Episode 4: Can I afford to go to university?

Are you worried about the cost of going to university? In this episode we tackle money head on.  We discuss budgeting, managing your finances and living independently, as well as Student Finance and practical ways to juggle a job and your studies.

Episode 5: Can I make the leap to higher academic study?

Are you worried about the challenges of university study? What is higher education study actually like? In this episode we get to grips with academic life at university. We hear about real student experiences, new ways of studying, managing time, the challenges of assignments and exams - and above all, the help and support that’s there when it’s needed.
