Our free online courses allow learners to enhance their digital and employability skills to suit any industry placement. These free, self-paced courses provide Kickstart employees an opportunity to plug any skills gaps, build their confidence and will help younger people transition into their next job, create a business or continue to explore learning pathways open to them.
Kickstart guide
Each course comes with a statement of participation and a digital badge, allowing learners and employers to record and recognise their achievements as they progress through their six-month Kickstart placement.
We offer short courses across a wide range of employee needs. Some focused directly on Skills for Work such as communication, leadership and mentoring, whilst others help in building Everyday Skills for Life from good mental health through to managing money.
We also offer courses in improving a learner’s basic maths and English and advice in writing CV’s and attending interviews to help Kickstart employees into sustainable employment should they progress permanently into an organisation from their existing Kickstart placement or need support for their next job or learning opportunity.
Each course comes with a statement of participation and a digital badge, allowing learners and employers to record and recognise their achievements as they progress through their six-month Kickstart placement.
These courses could also benefit any existing employees and complements any existing internal “Kickstart wrap around support” to Kickstart employees before, during and after any placement.
