1.1 Making a personal development plan

Your responses to the questions in Activity 1 should help you make a plan for your next steps on your journey as a peace educator. For example, identifying areas where there is support within your setting will help you think about who to approach and where you might start in your development. Choose perhaps one or two of these points to act on and use the last question – What can I realistically achieve? – to help you decide where to start and the steps you could take.

Whatever you decide to do, keep a record of your progress, and celebrate every achievement, however small.

In the next part of the session you will start to think about the development of peace education within the whole school community.
