2.2 What type of support might be available?
When signposting learners to mental health support, it is important to ask what support they may already be accessing. This helps to ensure that support and care are coordinated, rather than multiple avenues of support being accessed and potentially conflicting with each other. The support available may differ from place to place.
In the following sections are some examples of support available in the UK and via its National Health Service (NHS). If you are a learner in another part of the world you may have similar or different services to explore.
