Welcome
This course provides an accessible and engaging introduction to the teaching methods and ethical concepts underpinning the United Nations’ Education for Justice (E4J) initiative. It is intended to provide practical support for educators working in universities and to develop their capacity to incorporate anti-corruption, integrity and ethics teaching into the curriculum.
The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) launched the Education for Justice (E4J) initiative in 2016. It forms part of its Global Programme for the Implementation of the Doha Declaration on Integrating Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice into the Wider United Nations Agenda to Address Social and Economic Challenges and to Promote the Rule of Law at the National and International Levels. The Doha Declaration recognizes the fundamental importance of universal education for children and youth, for the prevention of crime, terrorism and corruption, as well as to promote sustainable development.
