      Welcome to French Boot Camp!

Here are some suggested routes that you may like to take through the boot camp.

Route 1 – if you only have 1 hour to dedicate to the Boot Camp each week, we suggest the following activities:

      • Listen to the 5 grammar bite-sized recordings (5 X 6 minutes)
      • Listen to 1 or 2 pronunciation screencasts (8 minutes x2) or other pronunciation activities (5 to 10 minutes)
      • Post any questions and/or comments in the relevant forum and read or respond
      • You might even be able to squeeze in some additional grammar practice offered in the Resources for extra practice section!

Route 2 – if you have between 2 to 4 hours to devote to the Boot Camp each week, we suggest the following activities:

      • Listen to the 5 grammar bite-sized recordings (5 X 6 minutes)
      • Listen to 1 or 2 pronunciation screencasts (8 minutes x2) or other pronunciation activities (5 to 10 minutes)
      • Post any questions and/or comments in the relevant forum and read or respond
      • Attend 2 x 1 hour OU live tutorials practising the themes of the week
      • Choose one or more additional grammar practice exercises in the Resources for extra practice section.

Route 3 – if you have 4 hours or more to devote to the Boot Camp each week, we suggest you do all the suggested activities in Route 2 and also choose as many practice exercises as you want in the Resources for Extra practice section.
