How would I feel if I was told I had MND?

I would be terrified and completely devastated - knowing there is no cure and that my life expectancy is very short. I would be very concerned for my family, not wish to be a burden for them but also not wish to have to be placed in care when my symptoms worsen if they were unable to care for me at home. I would be torn with feelings about wishing to die quickly and not suffer for too long and with the pain of not wishing to leave this world and my family prematurely.
