As a social subjects teacher- heritage conservation is a topic I have developed as an extra-curricular opportunity and have previously developed local partnerships with success. I would like to further expand this to a more national level- Communication and citizenship were important aspects as competencies of the project.
One factor I would change is that previously this was led by myself and the project was designed without learner input. Using the previously discussed project from this unit- it would be great if the learners could create the project using a brave space. I was really intrigued by the communication model idea, as well as the skills development that are transferrable to all aspect of participants life.
