Fear of the unknown

If I was diagnosed with MND my first questions would be

How quickly will it progress? When/how will I die?

Is there any treatment to slow the progression?

How do I tell my family? How do I get finances in order for my daughter before I die?

I would be frightened not being able to know how long I have left before I die, and what quality of life I will have. I would be devastated to know I don't have as long left with my daughter and partner. It must be so incredibly scary to receive this diagnosis.
