A playwright demands solitude and not a crowd to write.
How can a creative process like play-writing will be participative?
Isn't it a paradox when we are saying play-writing: a participative approach?
Shall we have a discussion on this? Please opine.
I think since it is not a common approach we are on a new path. That is the reason to create this course too.
It is creating a play for children with their participation and then to put it on paper at the end.
Not that nothing is written in between. in fact every little suggestion, every new idea is documented.
A diary is maintained throughout the period with small notes, sketches, storyboard, costumes, sets, etc.
Getting hints from all and actually using dialogues constructed by children for their related roles we try to reach our
destination.
The purpose is to involve children from the beginning of this process and let them enjoy the happiness of creation.
There are many other valid reasons to do this.
Can you guess those reasons?
