Effects of MND

The symptoms of MND can differ, but commonly involves muscle weakness, stiffness, and difficulty with movement, speech, swallowing, and breathing. 

*   Muscle weakness: This is part of MND systomps  Which part of the muscles don’t  work well. making it hard to do everyday things like walkingifting, or even holding things. It can start from one area of the muscle and spread to other part of the body.
*   Stiffness: Muscles can become hard to move and tight at that moment in time. 
*   Difficulty with movement: Things like walking, using your hands, or even just getting out of a chair become difficult to do.
*   Speech difficulties: Speaking requires precise muscle control. MND can lead to process of unable to use the muscle used for speech clearly, leading to slurred speech, a change in voice or low tone, or difficulty articulating words properly.
*   Swallowing difficulties: Similar to speech, swallowing involves muscles. Weakness in these muscles can make it hard to swallow substance such as food, liquids, and risk of choking easily.
*   Breathing difficulties: The muscles that channels breathing can easily be affected. This can lead to shortness of breath, especially when lying down or not in good posture.

These symptoms can vary in individuals on how they appear and how rapid they progress, but they all significantly impact a person's ability to do daily activities.
