Introduction

Hello colleagues!

My name is Mr. Peter Kinyanjui, serving as an adjunct lecturer in Kenyatta University. I have served as secondary school teacher for ten years, teaching History and Government. I serve currently as a teacher educator at the university level, a role that I have shouldered for last eight years.

I am an ambassador of TESSA and ACDE and I have done among others courses the “Inclusive Teaching and Learning” (ITL). I look forward to do another course on “Creating an Inclusive School” (CIS) which is offered by Commonwealth of Learning (COL), Teacher Education Sub-Sahara Africa (TESSA) and Open University (OU).

I have a great passion for online teaching and learning. I like integrating modern digital technologies to make my teaching relevant to the digital age. It is my great hope that these courses will help me to transform my classroom further and have impact on my students, whom I prepare to become future teachers, colleagues and school administrators.

I am looking forward to learn, grow and develop professionally on matters of Inclusive Education through interactions and sharing of experiences with teachers and teacher-educators across the globe. In this way, I will become a mentor to others and this is a way of giving back to my society.
