At my school we have put together as a staff a resource center and take turns monitoring resources and assisting students with their needs within the center. Our administrators have also actively engaged an inclusion officer which helps to assist students that have special needs within the classrooms. Our curriculum is also adjusted by each class teacher to assist those students with specific needs in each classroom. Our District Education Center also assist when possible with students that may have special needs so that they can assist teachers in facilitating learning for those children and so they can feel that they have a place at school in a welcoming and nurturing environment.
