Activity 1.2 What makes an inclusive school?

1. Inclusion in the education system means that students with disabilities should be integrated into a regular classroom. This will allow all students to have access to an appropriate education no matter what disability they may have.

In an inclusive classroom, teachers should encourage active learning and use the child's interest as a teaching tool, so that he or she may feel a sense of belongingness and lastly teacher should be mindful when grading any assessment in an inclusive classroom.

2. What is Soft Skill?
Soft skills means the things we do not see rather than the physical things around us example teacher's attitude.

3.What I would like to see in an inclusive school are
  •  Both Administration and teachers welcoming every student in the school and seeking advice from each other to facilitate inclusion.
  • Modification of school buildings to facilitate children with disabilities examples ramps and adapted washrooms.
