Two factors I think are particularly effective in contributing to an inclusive ethos and culture are 1. Teachers having a postive attitude towards the learners with disabilities, special needs , different learning styles, different cultural backgrounds and different languages. When there is a postive attitude teachers are willing and work collaboratively with each other to encourage and support our learners and their diversity. It is reflected in choice of materials/ resources, activities, communication with families and the school environment. The uniqueness of each child is respected and teachers and staff work together hence contributing to an inclusive ethos and culture that welcomes all learners and learning takes place.
2. The effective communication with the school and the home is essential in contributing to an inclusive ethos and culture. When the school and home establish a good or even great relationship , effectively communicate and work together as well as diversity is respected and welcomed the child feels that sense of belonging and also their family which he or she belongs.
