Activity 1.4 Attitudes

I would like to comment on the talk made by Daniel on the sources of negative attitudes concerning children with special needs.

Daniel says some teachers have attitudes of learner capacities. This is true. Most teachers who were trained some time back in the seventies or eighties were not trained how they could assist these children of special needs. Lack of knowledge would make someone to teach and evaluate that particular learner by lowering the standards.

Some parents even today do not allow their children to walk out of their houses because their children have challenge with mobility.
