I want to share two practice that a certain academic institution does which I think is good practice.

1. The assessment department. The assessment department is usually given the information about needy students. If there are students who have partial visual challenge, i.e. they can see with difficulties, these are assisted. They are assisted during assignments and examination by increasing the font of the letters so they are able to see the letters and words with ease. This is a good practice.

2. Special needs department. Recently, the institution has received braille equipment. Not only the equipment but also a member of staff specialized in braille writing and transcribing has just been recruited. During the first school assemblies students are informed of the resource centre which is available at the institution.
