Introduction

I am Alicia, from the island of Trinidad in the Caribbean. I've been a Primary school teacher for more than 20 years and I have taught at all levels. I did Special Education as my Elective at the Teacher's Training College and believe that inclusive education is the way forward. Students should be able to attend school in their neighbourhood, regardless of their challenges, and have their needs met.
