Attitudes

Insensitivity from peers, teachers and even principals are the main causes relating to the failure of inclusive measures in most schools. Training for all stakeholders should be paramount before the undertaking of any such measure in any institution. Previously in another school, one student with severe mental impairments, undiagnosed, was just left to his own devices while the rest of the school carried on in their day to day activities. He just roamed around the compound sort of like it was his daycare. Training for all persons involved must be provided.
