Monitoring inclusivity

Teachers at my Centre all participated in a work shop which engaged us in  strategies to include all children in the classroom.  When teachers returned to the school we all sat down and planned how to integrate the strategies learnt. With ongoing observation and weekly planning we were able to cater for the needs of all the children at the Centre.   At that time we had a child with Autism and another student that had a speech delay.  Over time we were able to engage the children in appropriate and meaningful activities.   We saw progress and we were also able to give the parents information so they can also assist their children at home.
