attitudes towards inclusion

Indeed we live in a society where children with disabilities are believed or perceived to be "slow" and therefore the attitudes of teachers or anyone around them treat them at a lower pace. yes in some cases they may need extra time, but if we tailor a system to suit them, it may not seem as holding back anyone else just for our disabled students. when we think of them as less than, we deprive them of reaching their full potential because they are now labelled and adapt the labelling theory effect. disabled children excel in they own way and all have their unique and miraculous abilities and  should have to deal with person who carry the attitude that they should learn at a different pace.
