Inclusive School

Two factors that I believe are effective in contributing to an inclusive ethos environment are;-

Firstly, building strong teacher to teacher relationships contributes to the holistic development of a child. At the school I am at we are constantly encouraged to do our best to ensure developmentally appropriate practice are carried out. My colleagues and I always share our suggestions and advice for best practice. 

Secondly, a resource room is important to cater for inclusion. This room gives the child the comfort knowing there is a place for them within environment. It also helps with managing behavior as they use materials which is safe and  they can create things to reflect there emotions.
