Activity 1.4- Challenging Attitudes

In a school that I taught at, there was a hearing impaired student whose parents believed that because of her impairment she could not learn or achieve. The introduction of a sign language interpreter to the class proved that she not only had the capacity to learn but that she could excel academically.
